Pub style food with a fantastic outside terrace. One of my favorite dishes is the golden bear beef dip with shaved roast beef, Spanish onions, cheddar cheese, and onion and garlic jus. The succulent roast beef is both tender and juicy. Although they are a bit pricey ($15 for beef dip and salad), their beef dip is better quality, and better tasting than any pub I have been to in Victoria. Their vegetables are fresh and the atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable.

I live at Bear Mountain, since new owners have taken over Nov 1st, I was curious as to see there new menu! Ive ate there 5 times in the last 2 weeks, I had a meat pizza, this is a meal for 2, it was huge. The hamburger was homemade, It was so good, I went there last Sat cause the special was 3 homemade sliders with fries for $10. The Mac & Cheese was awesome. & I tried the chilli. The place was packed on Friday at 8 pm, so I sat at the bar. After chatting with the bartender, telling him I was in a NHL pool, he said they were going to get the NHL package, Jacks is my new favorite hangout!
Great drink & Food prices & a fun atmosphere! Congrats to the new owners for a job well done!
