By far the best sushi I’ve had. I was never a sushi lover until I ate here. The dynamite rolls and the California Crunch Rolls are *so* delicious.

Simple decor appropriate to its location at Bear Mountain, friendly and prompt service. Menu choices were explained well, and the server had great recommendations. Portions were fair for the prices, and the sushi was utterly superb…and, dare I admit it, even the deep fried sushi! Will definitely return.

Worth the drive up to Bear Mountain for decent sushi if you don’t want to drive down to Victoria. Been there several times for lunch and dinner and it is consistently fresh and tasty. Some very different interesting choices like the deep fried California roll. BBQ Eel (Unagi) passed the freshness and tasty test. Tuna tataki and the spicy scallop rolls were delicious! The edamame beans are quite flavourful with the big sea salts.

Excellent Japanese fusion. Make sure you’re not in a hurry though as they can be quite slow. If you have the time it’s worth the wait.
